🎶 Sapthaka: A Grand Musical Tribute to Edward Jayakody 🎤



The past few days have added a collection of unforgettable memories to my life, all thanks to "Saptaka," the special tribute concert organized for the veteran vocalist, Mr. Edward Jayakody. ✨



🎼 Rehearsals and Preparations

I was honored to receive an invitation to contribute to the background music for this massive concert. I must extend a heartfelt thank you to my best friend, Yasiru, for creating this opportunity for me. 🤝 We spent three to four days at a studio in Maharagama, engaging in rigorous rehearsals. 🎸🎹 Although it was tiring, the dedication we put in for the sake of art was truly rewarding.

🎭 On the Tower Hall Stage...

Following the rehearsals, the "Saptaka" concert concluded successfully at the Tower Hall Theatre, Colombo. It was a great honor to provide musical accompaniment to the melodic voice of Mr. Edward Jayakody in a hall packed with an appreciative audience. 🌟


🌸 Beautiful Encounters

Several other special moments made this journey even more memorable:

  • We ran into Thinusha, a friend from our university. 🎓🙌



  • I also want to fondly mention our dear friend Achini, who accepted our invitation and came to witness the performance. 😇✨



It was a beautiful night filled with art, friendship, and respect. "Saptaka" marks another significant milestone in my artistic journey! 🎼❤️
